Referrals are a great source of business- without a doubt! The more that I network with Units of 1 - the more that I hear about referrals... It may be old-fashioned - but they are a great way of building a sustainable business.

Introductions are even better than referrals. An introduction means that the person making the contact on your behalf actually attends the first meeting or conference call. In my experience, such introductions result in work assignments the large majority of the time.
