Was laid off about 14 months ago, and I plunged immediately into wrangling clients. Some weeks and months have seen plenty of paid work, and others have seen unemployment comp. Still, I'm doing much better than when I was a Unit of 1 for three years in the mid-'90s.

Do I miss the corporate scene ? NO............ No more office politics,having my life ruled by some career enhancing jerk!
It's not easy working for yourself, but my health and well being are immeasurably improved even if my wealth isn't
I don't regret the change for one moment and I relish the daily challenge of chasin contracts and trying to improve my marketing and exposure on the web ( for as little layout as possible ! ) |
